Postgraduate Scholarships

Award available to students who hold Conditional or Unconditional Offer for our MSc programmes for October 2025. 

How to Apply 

You will be automatically considered for this scholarship when you submit your application and meet the conditions below by April 1st, 2025: 

• Send completed and signed Acceptance Form, which can be found on page 4 of the Offer Letter. 

• Send proof of payment of minimum 25% of the Foundation programme tuition fees (tuition fee deposit*).
  *deposit is fully refundable until the official enrolment date

Please note, the number of scholarships is limited, and scholarships will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. 

Combining Scholarship Awards 

This scholarship cannot be combined with other awards. 

Payment of the scholarship 

The award will be automatically deducted from your tuition fee invoice, issued approximately 8 weeks after the start of classes. 

Note: The deposit fee is calculated based on the full tuition fee (excluding the granted scholarship). Deposits are fully refundable up to the official enrolment date.

This scholarship is available to international fee-paying students enrolled in postgraduate taught programmes at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS), specifically the MSc Management and MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management. 

Our Admissions Team will review applications based on submitted documents and against the official grading system. 

Who is eligible? 

• The Scholarship is available for eligible applicants to all full-time Postgraduate taught degree programmes, offered on-campus through for October 2025 entry. 

• Applicants must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer from Lancaster University Leipzig for October 2025 entry. 

• Awardees must be classed as ‘Overseas’ or ‘International’ fee-paying students for tuition fee purposes, for the duration of their studies. 

How to apply 

There is no separate application process for this Master’s Scholarship. Eligible students will be identified automatically through their University application. The scholarship is confirmed once Lancaster University Leipzig is in receipt of your final exam transcript. 

Combining Scholarship Awards 

This scholarship cannot be combined with other awards.

This scholarship is available to international fee-paying students enrolled in postgraduate taught programmes at Lancaster University School of Computing and Communications (SCC), specifically the MSc Cyber Security and MSc Data Science.

Pre-Master’s Business: The full award will be automatically deducted from your tuition fee invoice, issued approximately 8 weeks after the start of classes. 

Pre-Master’s Computer Science: The award is split into two equal instalments: First half (€3,500/ €2,500) is applied towards Pre-Master’s. Second half (€3,500/ €2,500) is applied toward MSc upon progression from Pre-Master’s.

A 10% tuition fee discount for Lancaster University graduates on postgraduate taught programmes.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for the Alumni Loyalty Scholarship you must hold an undergraduate or master’s degree awarded by Lancaster University, achieved at any time, including one delivered through an associated institution. Alumni who completed an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification that included Lancaster University as a study abroad location are also be eligible for the award.

Note: This Scholarship is for applicants joining Lancaster University Leipzig in October 2025. We review our scholarships each year, and cannot guarantee this funding will be available for applicants who decide to defer their place.

Combining scholarship awards

If an applicant is eligible for any of the above scholarships as well as our Alumni Loyalty Scholarship, only the scholarship of the highest value will be awarded.

Ukrainian nationals applying for postgraduate programmes are eligible for domestic fees throughout the duration of their studies at Lancaster University Leipzig.

The fee reduction can be also combined with other awarded scholarships (more information upon submitting an application) and is applicable to Pre-Master’s and MSc degree entry applications.
