“Opportunities are always around the corner”

After completing his Master’s, Tsung Yuan is now able to apply all his knowledge from his studies to his work, which aligns perfectly with his degree. He is working as a Sales Specialist and Logistics Coordinator at a food ingredient export and import company.

What was your favourite part of studying at LU Leipzig looking back now?

I enjoyed the close connection with the professors and the classmates, with united relationship together. Also I got the opportunity to visit Porsche Leipzig, which was really a memorable and amazing experience. The university does so much for the career of the students, e.g. career fairs from time to time. I could gain some value experiences from there.

How can you apply what you have learned in your studies to what you are doing now?

My daily task for my current job contains coordinating with DHL, since my company has a collaboration with DHL. I find it very similar to what I have learned from my master degree: I do logistics management, inventory management and also procurement in the company.

What advice would you give to current and prospective students of LU Leipzig?

Opportunities are always around the corner.
